Kaal Madhumas, the most talked about film is releasing in September 2013. Adwik Entertainment is venturing into Kolkata with their debut production which is directed by Prabir Roy. It will have silver-screen debutante Sudip Sarkar leading the star cast. Versatile actor Rimjhim Gupta stars opposite to Sudip.  The film comprises of an exciting love affair with many twists. Kal Madhumas stars acclaimed actor and producer Arindam Sil in a pivotal role and is based on a novel of the same name by writer Sunil Das. The story of this film revolves around a Bengali home-maker lady, Swati who is regularly abused by his advocate husband. She falls in love with her neighbour Sanit, and elopes with him. But not before Sanit murders a policeman by accident. With cops in chase, Swati and Sanit embark on a journey of uncertainty. The run off continues ….. what trails in future is in question……will their intense love overcome all hurdles or will they succumb to social compulsions. The star cast of the Tollywood film also includes Saptarshi Ray, Debraj Roy, Ranjini Chatterjee and Neil Roy. The script of the film is written by Ashok Roy and the D.O.P is Sakti Banerjee. The music album of Prabir Roy's Kaal Madhumas was launched with a bang!

"It has been reported that the music album of Kaal Madhumas was launched in a charming evening at Jamuna Banquets. Actually, the film is based on the story of Sunil Das. It is creating quite a lot of interest among the audience as it possesses an unconventional and interesting storyline.

Although two of the protagonists, leading lady Rimjhim Gupta and Arindam Sil were unable to attend the event, there was no shortage of glamour at the event. In fact, the cast and crew present there made numerous picture perfect moments to capture and preserve. Remarkably, director Prabir Roy graced the occasion with lead actor Sudip and others to glam up the evening. Notably, the whole music team was present to grace the music album launch of the film which included music director Biplab Chakrabarty. Even singers Prabal Mullick, Sreeradha Banerjee, Reshmi Chakrabarty as well as Dr. Sandip Chakrabarty graced the occasion. The entire cast, crew and the production team assembled on the stage to launch the music album which made the event memorable. Although the whole team of Kaal Madhumas was bit difficult to confine in one frame, the unity in the team was very much clear from the sight. The album of the film consists of five songs.  The songs ‘Aaj Aami Je Sure Gai E Gaan’, ‘Tumi Thakle Paashe Dekho Akash Hashe’ are touchy and takes us back to the era of the early nineties. Later, the guests and media present there were also allowed a sneak-peak into some parts of the movie."
